A transparent LED film screen stuck to a shopping-mall window looks effortless from the street. 2. Ask for the bin code, not just the price. On a transparent film the eye sees neighbouring LEDs side by side; one loose green bin turns a clean white logo into a patchwork.
3. Treat the PCB as part of the light engine. Black solder mask kills reflection between pixels, and a 4-layer carrier spreads heat away from a 1.0 mm package far better than a cheap 2-layer film.
